LUMO Labs and Lumaux have announced a strategic investment of €1,000,000 in Dutch startup AirHub for their Drone Operations Center, a mobile software platform and online dashboard essential for managing drone fleets in security, critical infrastructure and emergency response operations with unmatched precision and adherence to global standards.

NPS Driven has successfully completed the Lloyd’s Type Approval for the DAF PACCAR MX-13. The clean, efficient, and quiet Euro 6 MX engine, which has been installed by Vink Diesel since 2017, offers the inland shipping industry a state-of-the-art solution. With this Lloyd’s certification, the engine is now widely applicable and, as of now, also suitable for passenger shipping, ADN – and other classified inland vessels.

The launch of a new organization with a focus on fire safety in France is a fact. With a permanent office in France, Firepacks France is closer to its customers and the service level can be taken to a higher level.

WB Firepacks from Zwijndrecht has released a new version of the remote monitoring and control system for sprinkler installations: 
Firecoach. Firecoach's machine-to-machine technology makes remote monitoring and testing part of daily practice. Remote insight is provided into the performance of the fire extinguishing system. The result: more efficient deployment of personnel, less maintenance and insight into the performance of the installation.

In May of 2023, the large-scale renovation of the current company building of Diesel Equipment Trading (DET) at Bijsterhuizen 2209 in Wijchen will start. The building will be expanded with the addition of a new office building with a total of 900m2, spread over three floors.
Xeamos is scheduled to move into the new building in March 2024. DET will also remain in the building and will welcome Xeamos as neighbours. 

Lumaux is pleased to share that it has successfully completed its first investment since inception: SenseGlove.

A new technology-focused investment fund is launched in the Netherlands, aiming to support growth of innovative start-ups and scale-ups. The Dutch Tech fund, named Lumaux, aims to invest in early-stage start-ups and scale-ups, active in one or more of the following market segments: robotics, energy transition, and mobility. Its experienced and ambitious team is eager to get started and to fulfil its mission of “taking tech to the next level”. 

Where once was the cradle of glass innovation for many products that changed people’s lives, now emerges a scale-up with the potential to do the same; Avular. This mobile robotics specialist aims to have over a million Avular-powered robots in the field by 2030, to shape a brighter future for all. A new headquarters is the next step necessary as it provides the right infrastructure to further scale up and meet market demand.

In the beginning of February, Lumipol introduced a bicycle plan for all employees working at its companies in the Netherlands, as real bicycle country. This bicycle scheme fits into the sustainability vision of Lumipol and its partners.  

As of today (Monday 5 September), NPS Diesel will continue under the name NPS Driven. With the same passion for innovation and to provide customer needs with appropriate solutions. However, with new impetus focused on the future.

Two large consortia of Dutch companies and knowledge institutes in the mobility and transport sector received at the end of last year 47 million euros in government funding to realize breakthroughs in electrification and hydrogen applications in automotive, maritime and air transport. NPS Diesel is participant in both innovation programs.

Lumipol Group is officially announcing today it has reached agreement with Yanmar, a Japanese multinational company, regarding the sale of its full share interest in ELEO Technologies B.V., a battery technology company based in Helmond, the Netherlands.

Since October 2021, Peter Wezenbeek has started as Chief Scientist at Lumipol. Peter (also called Peer or Pete) not only has several months of Lumipol experience, but also 30+ years of experience in everything that has to do with electronics and software. We use his observations and insights to better define the innovations within the Lumipol companies, to realize them and where possible to create synergies between the companies. Time for a closer acquaintance with our technological conscience.

Dutch start-up Avular wins CES 2022 Innovation Award honoree for their new product line The Essentials. The company further strengthens its proposition in the industry with a new codirector to lead the thirteenfold grown team.

As of January 2022, NPS Diesel has been appointed as official distributor of John Deere Power Systems in Germany. Besides the Benelux, France and Iceland, NPS Diesel is also responsible for the sales and after sales of John Deere Power Systems in Germany. They are officially taking over the distributorship from DGS Diesel und Getriebeservice GmbH, based in Mainz, as of 1^st of June 2022. DGS Diesel und Getriebeservice GmbH will continue as an official John Deere Power Systems service dealer.

The state-of-the-art electronics manufacturing and LRU assembly facility at Bangalore's Aerospace Park was officially opened on October 25, 2021. Lumipol was present during the event as an investor.

ELEO - the manufacturer of advanced battery systems - will expand considerably with a newbattery production plant at the Automotive Campus in Helmond. In the new facility, the annual battery production capacity increases tenfold to 500MWh – equivalent of approximately 10,000 battery packs. Construction has already started and is expected to be completed by mid-May 2022.

Fire Lion Global is the newest member of the Lumipol Group. The acquisition strengthens Lumipol's position and product offering in the global fire fighting systems business. Fire Lion is a leading manufacturer of foam pumps and has worldwide sales activities. With Vancouver, Washington state (United States) as centre of their activities, the acquisition of Fire Lion is also a great expansion of the geographical presence of the Lumipol Group.

ELEO (formerly SPIKE Technologies) has attracted Lumipol Group as a new investor to realize its growth ambitions. Lumipol Group expresses its confidence and takes a minority stake in the Helmond-based battery manufacturer. This investment enables ELEO to continue its rapid growth in the coming years towards a leading player in the field of advanced battery systems.

As of July 1, 2020, the management of the Lumipol companies will be transferred by Paul Krieckaert to his sons Tom and Sven Krieckaert. They will both become managing directors and will further develop the Lumipol Group.

As of February 4, 2019, all activities of Solfic E&E have been transferred to Xeamos BV. Xeamos is an independent player in the market and supplies emission reduction systems for all brands of diesel engines in non-road applications. The Solfic brand will disappear from the market after more than ten years.

DET, based in Wijchen (Netherlands) is the Dutch distributor of Mitsubishi and Isuzu industrial diesel engines and spare parts.
